Alexandra Nurse, RMT
Alexandra is a graduate of the Registered Massage Therapy program at Elegance College in Cornwall, ON. After spending many years as a nationally ranked competitive swimmer, Alexandra recognizes first hand muscle fatigue and muscle strain. She understands the benefits massage therapy has to offer in treating muscle injuries created from a passion for sports. Alexandra’s first hand experiences with massage therapy guided her into this field of practice. She is passionate about helping her clients improve their overall well-being by focussing on rehabilitation, physical maintenance of the body, and on pain management. She is constantly striving to increase her knowledge and skills. Alexandra knows how essential massage therapy is for the body and is looking forward to treating you.
Amy Simmonds, RMT
Amy graduated in 2009 from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Toronto, ON. She is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario.
Before moving to the Cornwall area, Amy had previously worked in Durham Region for the past 11 years in both multi-disciplinary and massage therapy settings. Amy is experienced in traditional Swedish massage, trigger point relief, and contemporary cupping techniques to reduce pain and increase functional movement. Amy uses a blend of therapeutic and relaxation techniques with variable pressure based on each clients individual needs and goals.
Shelly McMillan, RCRT
Shelly is a Registered Reflexologist through the RAC (Reflexology Association of Canada). Shelly brings over 10 years’ experience working within health care settings and is passionate about being able to offer natural care to her clients. She believes that reflexology can empower everyone to take charge of their own health. Whether it is for stress relief, pain management, or to simply improve your well-being.
Along with being a Registered Reflexologist, Shelly is a Certified Optometric Assistant who also holds certificates in Medical Office Administration and Hospital Ward Clerk. Empowered by the feeling of being able to make people feel better, Shelly furthered her education by recently becoming a Registered Reflexology Therapist with the Reflexology Association of Canada. Shelly looks forward to working with you to achieve your wellness goals.
Virginia Baumann, RMT
Virginia is a Registered Massage Therapist who studied Massage Therapy in Quebec prior to moving to Cornwall, ON with her family. After staying home to raise her family, Virginia returned to school to study Massage Therapy and graduated from Elegance College.
Virginia is focused and determined to find and treat target areas while improving your overall sense of well-being. Virginia brings over 3 years experience in the field and specializes in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, cupping therapy, and relaxation massages.
